Circuit du Val de Vienne

The Circuit du Val de Vienne is a permanent motor racetrack, located near Le Vigeant in the Vienne valley (about a 30 minutes drive to the east of Chez Robineau). Opened in 1990, the main track is 3.8km long with 13 corners - a tricky circuit with some difficult corners and bumpy braking areas. Other layouts are available, dependant on the vehicles taking part. The facility boasts a very busy calendar, between April and October, including Superbikes, Touring Cars, a Ferrari meet and several smaller events throughout the year.

The circuit and facilities are available for hire for private and public events. The site also includes a track-side restaurant, a brasserie in the middle of the paddock and a driving school.

Please see their website for this year's events:

If you can plan a gîte holiday around one of the events, please send an enquiry to see if we can help with your visit.
